A Front Desk Attendant serves as the first point of contact for hotel guests, delivering exceptional customer service while managing check-in and check-out procedures, reservations, payments, and guest requests. The role focuses on creating a welcoming experience and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide a positive first impression.
• Check guests in and out efficiently according to hotel standards.
• Process reservations, room assignments, and payments.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and billing inquiries.
• Recognize and assist loyalty program members and returning guests.
• Respond to guest questions, concerns, and special requests.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
• Upsell room upgrades and hotel services when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate guest records and reservation information.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to resolve guest issues.
• Follow hotel safety, security, and operational procedures.
• Assist with additional front office duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer, cash-handling, and math skills.
• Ability to solve problems and handle guest concerns professionally.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
• Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
