Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Assignment

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) for a 16-week travel assignment in Puyallup, WA. As a Travel ED RN, you will deliver fast-paced, high-quality triage and emergency patient care within a supportive healthcare system.

Position Details

• Role / Specialty: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: Puyallup, WA
• Shift / Schedule: 12-Hour Mid-shifts / Days (36 hours/week)
• Contract Length: 16 Weeks
• Pay Range: $1,726.56 $2,031.25 per week (Weekly pre-tax pay)

Key Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess, triage, and stabilize incoming emergency patients across diverse acuity levels.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and initiate emergency interventions or life-support protocols as needed.
• Collaborate closely with attending physicians, emergency specialists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate immediate and ongoing care.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient medical records using electronic charting systems.
• Communicate effectively with patients and family members to provide clarity, comfort, and educational instructions during high-stress situations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 12 years of recent Emergency Department / Trauma experience in an acute care setting.
• Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington (or compact state where applicable).
• Certifications Required:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (preferred/required per facility standards)
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in electronic charting systems (e.g., Epic/Cerner).
