Home Service Inspector (Will Train)

Overview As an Orkin Home Services Inspector, you will protect homeowners’ most valuable asset by performing comprehensive termite and pest inspections, recommending suitable solutions, and building trusted customer relationships. The role offers high earning potential, a company vehicle, and a 401(k) plan. Responsibilities Perform 360 inspections in homes, identifying pest issues and recommending solutions. Educate customers on Orkin’s products and services, addressing their questions and setting expectations. Use in‑house training and operate company iPad to prepare sales agreements. Prospect new business and convert assigned leads using company advertising support. Schedule sales appointments and conduct in‑home meetings. Provide problem‑solving recommendations based on inspections. Maintain organized records and follow‑up with customers. Benefits Competitive earnings: $60,000–$80,000 per year (base + commissions). Ability to obtain required pesticide license or certification (company paid). Independent fieldwork skills and strong customer interaction. Physical ability to use ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and access confined spaces. Willingness to work in various weather conditions and wear PPE. Work Environment Safe use of ladder within manufacturer weight capacity. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Safety compliance for crawl spaces, attics, roofs, etc., including climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Wear PPE, possibly including OSHA‑compliant respirator.
