Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position requires proficient experience in the cardiac cath lab procedures and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.Scheduling DetailsShift: 4x10 hours (07:30 AM - 06:00 PM) with on-call responsibilities.Requirement to take 7 on-call shifts and 5 late shifts within every 6-week period, including one full weekend call (Friday through Sunday).All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application.Availability for one holiday per 13-week contract is required.ChartingFamiliarity with Epic charting system is required.QualificationsActive state license (in hand or pending) accepted.Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.Required Clinical SkillsExperience in cardiac cath lab procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, PTCA, stent placement, and more.Proficient in scrub experience and sterile techniques.Strong skills in EKG lead placement, dysrhythmia recognition, hemodynamic monitoring, and rapid response protocols.Worked in diagnostic/interventional cath lab settings utilizing fluoroscopy.Knowledgeable about isolation precautions, equipment handling, and supply management.Unit DetailsServes adult patients with a daily census of 15–20.Common diagnoses include coronary artery disease, valve disorders, heart failure, and atrial septal defect closures.Advanced procedures include TAVR, left atrial appendage closures, thrombectomy, and more.Utilizes advanced equipment such as IABP, Impella, and various imaging tools.About the Work EnvironmentThis role operates within a fast-paced and collaborative environment, focusing on advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures.
