Important Note :

This role will start out as a 1st shift for training with the plan to transition to a 2nd shift role. Hours will initially be 6AM to 3:30PM Monday through Friday with frequent Saturday shifts and will then transition to 3:30PM to 1AM Monday through Friday and frequent Saturday shifts.

Job description:

• Play an active part in the safe work performance of the team, ensuring compliance with all safety standards.
• Work closely with the Plant Manager and Shipping Supervisor in the assigned work area to ensure optimum workflow.
• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.
• Operates equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Experience in a structural steel fabrication environment or lumberyard is a plus.

Requirement

• Experience operating a 15,500-19,000lb capacity forklift, in rough terrain/outdoor conditions is required for this role.
