ARNP - Psychiatric Inpatient Full-Time

Overview Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is hiring a full time inpatient Psychiatric ARNP’s to join our inpatient team. This position is in person. Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is a 120-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital located in Tacoma, Washington. We are Department of Health and Joint Commission accredited. We are an acute care psychiatric hospital providing care to both voluntary and involuntary patients. Responsibilities This job is responsible for providing high quality, efficient and effective specialized psychiatric care that is evidence based and trauma-informed, in accordance with Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital standards and guidelines, as well as with applicable statutory requirements and accepted clinical practices for the medical profession of psychiatry as well as the profession of advanced practice nursing. An incumbent is engaged in admitting, attending, discharging and consulting on patients following established protocols as determined by Wellfound BHH medical governance, bylaws, and privileges, especially as applicable to Allied Health Professionals. Work includes providing direct patient care that respects the patient’s unique values and needs by examining, diagnosing and analyzing the patient’s total health condition and developing short- and long-term treatment goals and plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and with each patient and/or their care designee(s). Requirements Education: Completion of a master’s/post-master’s/doctorate from an NP adult or family psychiatric and mental health program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate of Nursing Education in Nursing or an equivalent body. License: Current Washington state license to practice as a Registered Nurse License: Current Washington state license to practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License: Current valid DEA license Current Basic Life Support card through American Heart Association or American Red Cross Experience: Must have one year inpatient psychiatric experience as an ARNP. Demonstration of successful training, experience and competency in the provision of general and acute adult psychiatric care, treatment and services. Experience/training and competency must correlate to the privileges requested We offer Salary: $142,064 to $187,200 depending on experience Weekends additional pay: $1350 per weekend day with required productivity On call pay additional Great benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Supplemental Life Insurance eligible the first of the month following 30 days of hire. Paid Sick leave cannot be used until 90 days after your hire date. Paid Time Off will be accrued based on hours worked and tenure. You will accrue 0.12 hours of PTO per hours worked until you reach the next level of accrual. PTO cannot be used until 90 days after your hire date with the exception of designated Wellfound holidays.
