Newport News, Virginia Hiring Range $85,800.00 - $117,975.00/Annual. Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs. This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $5,000 and relocation assistance of up to $7,500 for those that qualify! What You’ll Do: Lead and inspire a team of nursing professionals, ensuring high-quality care and compassionate service across the unit. Build a winning team culture, improving staff retention Collaborate with interdisciplinary departments - rehab, social services, activities, dietary, pharmacy, and consulting physicians to maintain personalized care plans for each resident. Promote safety and policy compliance, proactively managing risk and supporting a culture of accountability. Oversee employee onboarding, orientation, and performance, fostering professional growth and team morale. Monitor and drive quality assurance initiatives that continuously improve resident care and operational excellence. Provide direct nursing support, including medication administration, as needed. What You’ll Bring: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred) Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Required) At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience (Preferred) Licenses & Certifications: Active RN license with the Virginia Department of Health Professions (Required) BLS/CPR Certification via American Heart Association (Required within 30 days of hire) Why Join Us?
