Renewal Specialist I

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Renewal Specialist I with a technologies company in Vernon Hills IL. This is a 3-month contract with a potential for extension.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00/hr ;W2 contract no PTO no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Description:

• The Renewal Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the renewal process by quoting transactional renewals and collaborating with sales teams to ensure timely and accurate renewal opportunities.
• This role focuses on existing contracts and works closely with partner contacts and internal stakeholders to prepare quotes and respond to inquiries.
• The Specialist contributes to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency through attention to detail and responsiveness.

What youll do:

• Quote transactional renewals and respond to inquiries from sales regarding expiring contracts
• Consult with sales to prepare renewal quotes and identify upselling opportunities
• Build and maintain business relationships with sales teams and partner contacts
• Attend partner-specific and renewal-related training sessions
• Collaborate with Product Specialists and partners to support sales efforts
• Maintain responsiveness to sales and customer needs
• Participate in external training and conferences (with manager approval)
• Support renewal operations by managing quote preparation and pipeline tracking

What we expect of you:

• Bachelors Degree and 1 year of experience in Renewals Quotes Sales Support or a related field OR
• 5 years of experience in Renewals Quotes Sales Support OR a related field without a degree
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize work under pressure and frequent interruptions
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed
• Ability to understand and apply written and verbal instructions
• Experience in technology sales support (preferred)

Note: The role is remote by Chicago land area applicants only as the contractor will have to go into the Chicago office every few weeks.
