Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing project execution, managing schedules, risks, deliverables, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders. This role requires coordination of meetings, status reporting, and maintaining quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle, particularly within federal cybersecurity assessment projects. Responsibilities:

• Manage project execution and ensure adherence to schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate and facilitate project meetings.
• Submit weekly status reports to stakeholders.
• Maintain and update the risk register regularly.
• Coordinate OPM background checks as required.
• Track project milestones and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure quality assurance reviews are conducted throughout the project.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 5+ years of federal project management experience.
• Experience managing cybersecurity assessments.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification.

Special Considerations:

• Must be able to coordinate OPM background checks.
• Experience working within federal government project environments.
