Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Or Physician AssistantA member of the Boston Medical Center Health System, is seeking an experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing outpatient dermatology program in Brighton, MA. This role is ideal for a dermatology APP who is comfortable practicing independently within a collaborative care model and is excited to help grow services in a modern, community-based setting.Position: Physician AssistantDepartment: DermatologySchedule: 40 hoursEssential Responsibilities / Duties:Provide comprehensive outpatient dermatologic care to adult patientsDiagnose and manage acute and chronic skin conditionsPerform dermatologic procedures within scope and demonstrated experience, including but not limited to:Skin biopsies and excisionsCryotherapy and electrodessicationIntralesional and cosmetic injections (if applicable)Develop and manage treatment plans and follow patients longitudinallyEducate patients on skin health, disease prevention, and treatment optionsDocument clinical encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical recordCollaborate with dermatologists, primary care providers, and clinical staffJob RequirementsEducation:Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant programCertificates, Licenses, Registrations Required:Current or eligible Massachusetts licensureNational board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA as applicable)Minimum of 2 years of direct outpatient dermatology experience requiredKnowledge and Skills:Demonstrated competency in medical dermatology and common dermatologic proceduresStrong clinical, communication, and organizational skillsCompensation Range:$109,000.00- $158,000.00This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness.
