Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic School and Clinic-based Occupational Therapist to join our passionate team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to children in both educational and clinical settings. The ideal candidate will be energized by making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with diverse needs. Responsibilities Assess and develop individualized care plans for children across school and clinical environments, focusing on improving functional skills and independence. Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), including self-care routines such as dressing, grooming, and feeding. Implement therapeutic interventions tailored to each child's unique needs, utilizing evidence-based techniques. Collaborate with teachers, parents, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care strategies and effective discharge planning. Support early intervention programs by working with infants and toddlers to promote developmental milestones. Engage in discharge planning processes to ensure smooth transitions from therapy services to home or school environments. Requirements Valid Maryland occupational therapy license. Familiarity with pediatric conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, disabilities, and early developmental delays a plus. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, educators, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
