Construction Project Engineer

Job Title: Construction Project Engineer

Darland Construction Co. is looking for a highly motivated Construction Project Engineer (PE) whose role will be to support the project management team to ensure a successful construction project.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Construction Management/ Construction Engineering or a Construction Management Certificate from an accredited university
• Applicable internships and field experience preferred
• Candidates must have working knowledge of MS Office 365, CPM scheduling, and construction
• management software (preferably Procore). Additional training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, update and distribute construction documents (RFIs, ASIs, PRs, etc.)
• Help maintain organized and safe worksites
• Review, expedite and track submittals
• Attend job site meetings and maintain meeting minutes
• Assist in preparing bid packages, issuance of contract documents and invoice approval
• Assist in producing and updating project schedules
• Assist in resolving design issues
• Schedule and document client training for new systems and equipment
• Manage project closeout process, including owner training and archiving project records
• Field and manage warranty requests
