Med/Surg, Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs, Insulin, PCA, Spinal cord injuries, Traumatic Brain injury, Ortho trauma, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Total Joint Replacements, Surgical drains, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oral suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Level 1 Trauma Experience

Patient Diagnoses: come from ED, OR or ICU

Services on unit:geriatric trauma: 55 yo + with trauma Trauma: Abuse/violence victims, MVA, MVC, Falls Acute Care Surgery: appendicitis, gallbladders, hernia repairs, fistulas, wounds, burns, TBI

If you are working a straight night shift, there is no charge for parking, and you may park in the employee parking (you will receive parking information during orientation).

If you will be working a day/night rotation: you will have to obtain a parking pass for which there is a $70.00 fee per month. The garage that you will be parking in will be Clayton/Taylor Ave location. Bring your license plate number with you on your first day.
