Onsite Position Information Posting Number Posting Number S1122026 Department Name Funding Type Position Summary This role reports to the Graduate Assistant for Game & Event Operations & Director of Internal Operations on a daily basis Assist with pre-event setup, event day management, post-event tear down for various sports & events This position provides opportunities for skill development in leadership, event & operational management Compensation: Opportunities to attend UCA Athletic events, behind-the-scenes access, and mentorship from personnel within UCA Athletics Staff meals provided at some athletic events Paid based off of Federal Eligibility (Will not be able to work other on-campus jobs) Job Duties and Responsibilities Set up and tear down for gamedays & various events: Football, Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Softball & Baseball Soccer – Retrieve balls that are kicked out of play Softball & Volleyball – Retrieve balls that are hit out of play Baseball – Scoreboard & Pitch Clock operator Men’s & Women’s Basketball – Mop game court (in between timeouts & throughout each game) Aid in Maintaining Facilities Work Conditions – Be able to lift 25lbs Represent the University & Athletic Department with integrity at all times Must be on time to assigned events & duties!
