Phlebotomist Float
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a full-time phlebotomist float for its Fort Wayne, Indiana location to perform blood collections across multiple sites. The role involves venipuncture, specimen processing, patient data entry, and travel between clinic locations throughout the region.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specialty specimens including drug screens, paternity, and alcohol tests
- Prepare specimens for testing and maintain information logs
- Process billing and collect patient payments as required
- Travel between multiple clinic locations as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year or more phlebotomy experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with minimal supervision
Compensation: $2.00/hr float incentive plus mileage reimbursement
