Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, 30-bed Medical ICU setting
• Manage a complex patient population including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 diabetes, alcohol and substance use disorders, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy
• Operate and monitor patients on mechanical ventilators
• Manage and titrate drips (vasoactive and other continuous infusions)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-acuity critical care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Proficiency with mechanical ventilators and continuous drip management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume, urban Medical ICU environment
• Familiarity with managing multi-system critical illness and complex comorbidities
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced setting
