The Busser is an hourly Front of House position responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of la Madeleine’s café. As a Busser, you play a key role in keeping the dining room inviting and well-stocked, working closely with Food Runners and the service team so every Guest has a delightful experience from start to finish.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain a clean and inviting dining area, including pre-bussing and floor care.
• Support Food Runners by delivering meals to guests as needed.
• Communicate clearly and courteously with team members and guests.
• Reset and restock tables promptly so Guests are seated without delay.

Requirements

• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements

• Stands, works, and moves during the entire shift with frequent bending and stooping. Lifts and carries bus tubs and trays of up to 25 lbs. multiple times per shift.
• Be able to acknowledge hazards such as broken glass, spills, slipping, and tripping.
• Able to work with dining room and dish room equipment, including bus carts and trays.
• Be able to hear and communicate with Managers, Associates, and Guests in the midst of loud background noises.
