The Class A CDL Local Truck Driver plays a critical role in ensuring timely and safe deliveries within the local region. This position requires an independent professional who manages variable routes during day shifts, adhering to safety standards while maintaining efficient communication and time management. The driver operates solo, handling cargo responsibly and performing thorough vehicle inspections to support consistent delivery quality.
Responsibilities
- Perform local deliveries following variable routes during day shifts
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips
- Maintain accurate logs and comply with safety regulations
- Navigate and plan routes effectively for timely deliveries
- Handle cargo with care to ensure safe transport
- Communicate efficiently with dispatch and other stakeholders
- Manage time to meet delivery schedules independently
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in commercial truck driving
