Orthopedic Technician (Ortho Tech) | Full-Time

Employment Type: Full-Time About the Position We are seeking a skilled and motivated Orthopedic Technician with a minimum of two (2) years of orthopedic clinical experience to join our growing medical practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in casting, splinting, brace fitting, patient care, and assisting providers with orthopedic procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting. Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years of Orthopedic Technician experience required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Orthopedic Technician/Technologist certification preferred. Knowledge of orthopedic anatomy, fracture care, casting, and splinting techniques. Experience fitting and dispensing orthopedic braces and durable medical equipment (DME). Strong communication and patient service skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinical environment. Experience with EMR/EHR systems preferred. Ability to travel between and work at both Sherman Oaks and Palmdale locations as needed. Responsibilities Apply, remove, and modify casts, splints, and orthopedic braces. Assist physicians and providers with orthopedic examinations and procedures. Educate patients regarding cast care, brace usage, and treatment plans. Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, and other clinical information. Prepare treatment rooms and maintain orthopedic supplies and equipment. Coordinate patient care and follow‑up appointments. Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR). Ensure compliance with clinic policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols. Preferred Experience Orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, spine, or pain management practices. Workers' compensation and personal injury cases. DME dispensing and related documentation. X‑ray positioning and imaging workflow experience (if qualified). Benefits Competitive pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays.
