Job Title

Rapid Response Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Nights)

Location

Arlington, Texas

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 48 hours per week | 6-week assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-risk obstetric nursing care in a Labor & Delivery unit with a 2:1 patient ratio
• Administer and monitor magnesium drips, insulin drips, and other high-acuity interventions
• Perform circulator and scrub roles for obstetric surgical procedures
• Utilize electronic medical record systems (CPN/Meditech) for accurate and timely documentation
• Fulfill on-call requirements of one shift every four weeks as needed
• Float within the Women's service line to Postpartum and Antepartum units as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience in high-risk OB Labor & Delivery
• Current BLS certification (must be included at time of submission)
• Current ACLS certification (must be included at time of submission)
• Current NRP – Intermediate level certification (must be included at time of submission)
• AWHONN certification (must be included at time of submission)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED) setting
• Background in high-risk and high-volume Labor & Delivery environments
