Quality Technician

Job Title: Quality Inspector – MRB (Material Review Board) Location: Broomfield Colorado Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to manage product and processes within the MRB cage. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality and compliance with industry standards, working closely with quality engineers and cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities Manage product flow and perform quality checks on items entering and exiting the MRB cage. Collaborate with quality engineers to identify issues, perform containment, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Conduct accurate visual, dimensional, mechanical, and/or functional inspections per inspection plans, drawings, and specifications. Initiate and document material non‑conformance reports with detailed and accurate information. Review in‑process and final production materials to confirm specifications and document results. Ensure product compliance with drawings, specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. Participate in ISO 9001/AS9100, FAA, customer, and internal audits as needed. Qualifications Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing environment with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. IPC 610 and/or 620 certification. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; work will be performed in office, lab, and manufacturing environments. Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Experience with visual and mechanical inspection using basic hand tools (e.g., calipers, pin gauges, height gauges). Effective communication and teamwork skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Skills & Experience ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification. Experience working within ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 certified environments. Proficiency in office software applications. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $25.50/hr.
