Supervisor - Manufacturing Operations

Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Dayton, OH Pay Rate: $31.92 Required Skills & Abilities Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication skills. Basic PC software & computing skills (e-mail, MS office programs). SAP experience required. 2 to 5 Years' Experience preferred.

Quals-- A Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, manages staff, ensures accurate and timely shipping and receiving, and maintains a safe and efficient work environment.

Job Specific Roles

Daily status report
Prepare bills of lading, customs documentation, and shipping labels in SAP
Set-up and schedule shipments
Record shipping and receiving transactions in the ERP system
Track shipments and resolve discrepancies with internal teams
Scheduling of export loading appointments
Timely filing and maintenance of all shipping documentation
Timely filing and maintenance of all process orders
Maintain consumable inventories
Oversee accurate and regular inventory checks
Maintain all shipping and receiving standard operating procedures

Safety

Safety is the #1 job priority always. Recognize and correct safety problems/issues/deficiencies as observed/directed.

Quality

Quality of product ranks 2nd only to safety. Have a working knowledge of all quality procedures and ensure that they are followed. Perform quality documenting audits.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements Must have high school diploma or GED. Must be able to work 8 hour day shifts, some overtime on occasion. Must possess excellent attendance. Capacities to read, comprehend, and refer to operating directions.
