Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift

Responsibilities: • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on food processing and packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance • Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency • Collaborate with team members to implement preventive maintenance programs, enhancing equipment longevity • Ensure compliance with safety and food safety standards, contributing to a secure work environment • Maintain and monitor boiler and ammonia refrigeration systems, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently • Document maintenance activities accurately, providing clear records for future reference and audits • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, supporting our growth and innovation initiatives Qualifications: Required Qualifications • Ability to safely perform maintenance tasks following training and authorization • Ability to comply with LOTO, electrical safety, and confined space requirements • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications • High school diploma or GED; technical or trade school preferred • Prior experience in food manufacturing or regulated environments • Experience with preventive maintenance programs • Designation as an OSHA-defined authorized employee for LOTO • Confined space entry training • Electrical safety or NFPA 70E awareness training • Familiarity with boiler systems and wastewater treatment operations • Experience working in SQF or BRCGS-certified facilities Compensation: $25 - $30 hour + $2 Hour Shift Differential + $1,000 Sign On Bonus per year
