Senior Director Of Engineering

InterSources Inc seeks a Senior Director of Engineering, reporting directly to Vice President for our Professional Services Business to lead a team of engineers in designing and implementing Cisco/GCP/Azure/AWS and other vendor Technical Solutions.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated and brings the industry, business, and technical skills necessary to work effectively with customers and internal team members.

The candidate will be responsible for providing technical and multi-architectural expertise for developing the GTM enablement strategy. The candidate must have demonstrated expertise with Cisco Technologies or other cloud Platforms.

The candidate must have technical consulting expertise for strategic large customers. He will execute Cisco Data Center and Enterprise Networks Delivery Methodology, best practices documentation development, and thought leadership.

Specific duties are as follows:

• Set technical direction for InterSources Inc's best practices and functional roles within customer engagements
• Perform in a technical teach leadership capacity and provide support as focal point for highly complex customer problems
• Assist and support identifying skills and business shortfalls in a customer environment
• Participate in establishing programs to address business shortfalls Generate Data Center and Enterprise Networks configurations from Low Level Design for highly complex environments
• Generate standard project documentation including detailed test plan for highly complex networks.
• Perform analysis and diagnosis of highly complex Data center networking problems
• Build simulated Data Center networks in test labs to resolve highly complex problems and compatibility issues
• Plan and execute highly complex Data Center and Enterprise Networks Upgrade and Migration activity
• Assist customer with deployment of related tools that support a customer and related Network Management Systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve highly complex customer Data Center network problems across a broad range of technologies
• Support pre-sales activity for highly complex networks
• Write technical white papers for new technologies supported by InterSources Inc in an effort to develop Data Center and Enterprise network design and architecture best practices
• Review and validate all solutions to ensure compatibility and consistency with InterSources Inc best practices
• Participate in selection of networking technologies and products for implementation
• Communicate the role and value of the solution to the organization and present the business case for technology investments.

Specific skills, tools, and instrumentalities required to execute these job duties include:

• Building, maintaining and upgrading of virtualization environments.
• Cisco SDA and Cisco SDWAN technologies.
• Datacenter technology, designing Datacenter Networking including Servers and Storage and deploying Datacenter networks within Cisco ACI, UCS, Nexus and MDS VMware technologies, NetApp technologies and Microsoft technologies
• Inter-networking troubleshooting in Data Center network environment.
• Must have strong Technical Account management skills.

Deliverables:

1. Assisting the Sales and Professional Services Groups with requests for quotes, information, bids, proposals, and Statements of Work (SOWs). 2. Participating in vendor training on existing and new products. 3. Working in conjunction with other Solutions Architects and teams to create, maintain, and publish a set of written procedures and best practices for the delivery of pre-and post-sales engineering services to customers. 4. Facilitating and conducting webinars and presentations to customers, including conceptual design and white boarding sessions.
