Construction Accountant

Intertech Commercial Flooring, founded in 1988, is a leading provider of commercial flooring products, installation, maintenance, and design consultation services to businesses throughout the Southwest. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Construction Accountant who demonstrates pride, quality, and integrity in their work for our Austin office. Responsibilities Perform monthly cash and bank account reconciliations Perform monthly sub-ledger to general ledger reconciliations Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis Prepare monthly journal entries, as needed Manage payroll and job costing entries and associated reconciliations Manage fixed assets accounting and related responsibilities Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly cash forecasts Assist in the preparation and analysis of work in process (WIP) Assist in the preparation of bank-related deliverables Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements Support year-end audit activities Assist with other ad-hoc projects as needed Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent hands-on accounting experience 4–7 years of accounting experience; construction accounting experience a plus Experience with ComputerEase construction accounting software a plus Strong proficiency in Excel required Excellent written and verbal communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
