Job Description

Location: Tijeras, NM
Schedule: Fridays and Saturdays, 7:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m.
Hours: 8 hours per week

We’re seeking a dependable, compassionate caregiver to support a client with paralysis in their home. The role focuses on personal care, safe transfers, companionship, and basic household support.

Responsibilities

Assist with washing and dressing the client while they are in bed
Provide standby assistance for safety
Transfer the client to and from their wheelchair
Assist with a partial lift to the toilet
Offer companionship
Prepare meals
Perform light housekeeping related to the client’s care

Qualifications

Experience with personal care and safe transfers preferred
Comfortable assisting a person with mobility needs
Reliable, patient, respectful, and attentive to safety
Able to perform the physical requirements of the role, including assisting with transfers
Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred
