Controls Engineer

We are working on behalf of a client seeking a controls engineer to design, develop, and deploy systems that manage machinery and processes. The ideal candidate will create user-friendly HMIs and optimize automation for safety and efficiency, participating in all project phases from design to implementation.


This role involves collaborating with clients, preparing technical specifications, and supporting project completion-either independently or within a team. The controls engineer will also deliver training and build strong customer relationships.


The successful professional will be passionate about process improvement, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently. A valid driver's license and passing a drug test are required.

• Responsibilities:
• Create and support control systems and HMIs.
• Manage projects from concept to completion.
• Work with clients on design and implementation.
• Generate project quotes and technical specs.
• Provide training on control systems.
• Maintain strong customer relations.

• Requirements:
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Valid driver's license and pass drug screening.
• Continuous process improvement mindset and adherence to safety standards.
• Experience with PLCs, sensors, HMIs, electrical schematics, and safety standards is highly valued, especially within regulated industries like medical or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or an associate's degree with two years of relevant experience.
