QA/QC Manager - Job Summary
The QA/QC Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company's Quality Management System while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, customer specifications, contract requirements, and internal procedures. This role oversees all quality assurance and quality control activities related to fabrication, welding, inspection, material traceability, testing, and documentation.
The QA/QC Manager leads and supports QA/QC personnel, manages welding quality programs, coordinates inspections and NDT activities, administers nonconformance and corrective action processes, and serves as the primary quality representative for customers, auditors, and third-party inspectors. This position is accountable for maintaining quality records, ensuring material and weld traceability, monitoring quality performance metrics, and providing leadership to drive continuous improvement while protecting product quality, compliance, and project success.
