Our organization is on the lookout for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OBGYN physician to become a part of our OB Hospitalist Program at Eden Medical Center, located in Castro Valley, California.

We pride ourselves on a collaborative, team-oriented approach that ensures 24/7 in-house obstetric and gynecologic care, with one physician on duty at any given time. This position allows for the practice of hospital-based obstetrics in a nurturing environment, supported by strong specialty backup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting OB triage, patient assessments, and management
• Attending deliveries and providing surgical assistance
• Managing emergency Cesarean deliveries (with trauma surgery support available if necessary)
• Performing gynecologic consultations and urgent/emergent surgeries
• Monitoring fetal health and providing emergency department coverage for OB/GYN patients

You will collaborate closely with local OBGYNs, maternal-fetal medicine specialists from a nearby sister facility, and an in-house team that includes pediatric hospitalists, trauma surgeons, anesthesiologists, adult hospitalists, intensivists, and emergency medicine professionals.

Qualifications:

• Possession of an active and unrestricted medical license in California
• Current DEA registration
