Job Details Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – LTAC Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) Location: Kansas City, Kansas 66112 Duration: 13 weeks Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts Weekly Schedule: 3 shifts per week; 36 hours per week Start Date: ASAP Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 On-Site: Yes Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience BLS certification required before the first shift ACLS certification required before the first shift Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills Ability to support a safe, patient-centered care environment Experience in LTAC, rehabilitation, telemetry, or similar acute care settings preferred Previous travel nursing or contract nursing experience is a plus Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission Develop and carry out individualized plans of care for LTAC patients Provide timely, accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and care planning Support patient rehabilitation and discharge planning from day one Educate patients and families based on identified health care needs Communicate changes in patient status promptly to the care team Supervise and support ancillary nursing staff as needed Promote a safe, organized, and positive long-term acute care environment Contribute to professional growth through continuing education and self-study Why Consider This Kansas City RN Opportunity?
