Job Responsibilities

• Craft Custom Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's individual needs to design personalized therapy strategies that help them realize their functional aspirations
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Leverage proven methods to enhance patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily activities
• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Engage with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide comprehensive care for your patients
• Educate Patients and Families: Offer training on various therapy techniques to ensure continued progress outside of sessions
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor patient development and modify treatment approaches as needed to keep them on track

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Encouragement and support for ongoing education or post-graduate certifications

Licensure and Certifications

• Active and valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• Strongly preferred: NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification
