As a Thoracic Surgeon within our organization, you will be at the cutting edge of advancements in thoracic trauma, oncology, and respiratory care. Your responsibilities will include assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with surgical requirements related to the vascular system, as well as performing necessary surgical procedures. By becoming a part of our medical team, you will not only enhance the lives of our service members but also contribute to the nation as a whole. Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited U.S. medical or osteopathic school; foreign graduates may apply with a permanent certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.
- Current medical license to practice in the United States, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.
- Eligibility for board certification.
- Completion of at least one year of an accredited graduate medical education internship.
- Completion of a thoracic surgery training program.
- Aged between 21 and 42 years (waivers considered on an individual basis).
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
