Calibration Technician

Job Description Techtronic Industries Power Equipment, a subsidiary of TTI, has an opening in its Anderson, SC office for a Calibration Technician that will be responsible and accountable for managing the calibrated equipment workload in support of product development programs and mature products. The IEC/ISO 17025 accredited lab is looking for an experienced technician that can hit the road running. Job Function Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Works with minimal supervision, self‑starter that takes ownership of assigned duties. Tests, calibrates, adjusts, and maintains electromechanical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydro, mechanical and pressure type measuring and indicating instruments to conform to set standards. Sets up calibration sequences, methods and procedures according to detailed specifications, drawings and requirements. Follow automated procedures, instructions and help develop new procedures. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Job Responsibilities Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document work activity; experience with Fluke’s MetCal software would be a plus. Conduct complex configuration tests and interpret schematics and testing procedures. Provide detailed documentation of all calibration, troubleshooting, and repair activities. Follow Standard Operating Procedures and/or equipment manuals to perform work. Perform internal weekly checks and document activities. Responsible for day‑to‑day workload management. Troubleshoot, evaluate and calibrate equipment as identified by management. Manage outsourced calibration and repair. Write technical documentation for new and existing applications, methods and procedures. Maintain ISO17025 documentation related to calibrated equipment. Perform other miscellaneous functions as assigned by management. Be willing to learn and open to direction and suggestions. Preferred Capabilities Automated procedure programming or willingness to learn. Experience working in a 17025 accredited lab. Ask questions when in doubt, take responsibility for learning what needs to be done. Target Salary Range: $65,000 - $95,000 #J-18808-Ljbffr
