- Lead Regulatory Compliance: Interpret, enforce, and refine tribal, state, and federal gaming regulations and internal control procedures.
- Manage Compliance Audits: Execute comprehensive compliance checklists, conduct gaming device software testing, and collaborate with internal audit firms for annual reviews.
- Conduct Investigations: Lead inquiries, interviews, and observations to investigate regulatory violations and draft detailed incident reports.
- Empower & Mentor Staff: Oversee personnel management, including recruitment, orientation, training, performance evaluations, and team development.
- Drive Strategic Communication: Represent the audit section in key leadership meetings and present findings to oversight directors and commissions.
- Education & Experience: BA/BS in Accounting, Business and 5+ years of dedicated gaming compliance experience.
- Regulatory Expertise: 5+ years of experience administering, reading, and applying complex technical regulations.
- Leadership & Technical Skills: 3+ years of supervisory experience, general casino accounting knowledge, and proficiency in gaming device testing.
- Requirements: Valid Driver’s License and demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office).
- Preferred: Knowledge of PeopleSoft and regional gaming/criminal codes.
