Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (Contract / Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Rotating Weekends | No Call Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed Labor and Delivery unit maintaining a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with procedures including SVDs, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
• Utilize unit equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary team members across day and night shifts
• Adhere to unit attendance policies, dress code requirements, and established clinical guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• STABLE certification and intermediate fetal monitoring competency
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) competency
• Sterile vaginal exam (SVE) competency and C-section circulation experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Internal monitor placement competency
• Experience in a high-volume Level IV Labor and Delivery unit
• Team-oriented with a positive, collaborative attitude
