Job Full Description

Warehouse Associate Job Summary: A state-of-the-art brass hardware company with over 130 years of history is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join their growing team. This position plays a critical role in order fulfillment at the beginning of the week and focuses on inventory accuracy through cycle counts for the remainder of the week. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn.


Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:

• Picking, packing, labeling, and shipping product from the warehouse
• Stage product for shipping and load shipments using the appropriate equipment
• Using a cherry picker and forklift (must be willing to get certified) to pick and pack orders
• Accurately and efficiently process all orders
• Utilize a scanning program to process and ship orders
• Conduct cycle counts, accurately counting inventory in designated warehouse locations
• Learn and retain information about different customers, orders, and packing procedures

Schedule & Pay:

• 1st Shift 7am-4:30pm Monday, 7am-3:00PM Tuesday-Thursday and 7am-1:30pm Friday with overtime is required as needed
• $17.00/HR

Order Picker Qualifications:

• Prior forklift or cherry picker experience is required
• Pick and packing experience
• Excellent math and counting skills are necessary
• Able to stand for eight+ hours and work in a physically demanding environment including bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50lbs repeatedly
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are needed
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes
• Must be willing to adhere to warehouse safety policies, including no earbuds and no cellphone use
