Crisis Continuum Manager

Position Overview Title: Crisis Continuum Manager (Community Developer IV) – Grade A27 Division: Behavioral Health Services, Prince George’s County Health Department Location: 9187 Central Ave, Capitol Heights, MD 20743 Responsibilities Perform complex professional community development work within a major programmatic section/division. Plan and coordinate activities of major community development projects from inception to completion in accordance with local, state, and federal codes. Plan and lead professional and paraprofessional personnel in the collection and analysis of socio‑economic and other pertinent information. Assist in the preparation of budgets for assigned programs or projects. Coordinate the preparation of reports requested by higher authorities to support respective programs or projects. Review rules and regulations, seek input from subordinates to ensure compliance, and recommend changes where appropriate. Develop strategic plans and orient internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals. Provide oversight services funded by grants and reimbursable by insurers. Establish common performance measures for diverse programs within and outside the division. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Public Administration, Social Service, Sociology, Psychology, or a closely related field. Three (3) years of responsible professional technical, analytical, and developmental work experience, including at least one (1) year in a lead/supervisory role. Valid Class C driver’s license. Relevant education, training, and experience may also be considered; however, no equivalency will be accepted for required supervisory experience. Preferred Qualifications Thorough understanding of best practices for responding to and stabilizing behavioral health crisis at the county level. Facilitation skills and ability to convene professionals across disciplines. Strategic planning and organizational management skills. Strong attention to detail, consistently producing accurate work, reviewing documents carefully, and ensuring tasks are completed with precision and minimal errors.
