Job Description - TITLE I - SPECIALIZED PROGRAMS TEACHER ASSISTANT III - SAWYER MS (2600022K) Position Title I Specialized Programs Teacher Assistant III Terms Months: 9 Hours: 7 Program: (STAR) Social/Emotional Teaching and Reinforcement Qualifications High school graduation or equivalent (e.g., GED, foreign equivalency). Minimum 48 credit hours from an accredited college/university or passing score on the ETS Para-Pro assessment. Experience working with children. Licenses and Certifications Current CPR/AED certificate from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or similar. Must be maintained for duration of assignment, includes in‑person hands‑on training. Online courses not accepted. Upload front and back of certificate. Preferred Qualifications Signing abilities (for the hearing impaired program). One year experience working with special education children.
