Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, assisting in a variety of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring all instruments and supplies are properly sterilized
• Initiate and monitor IVs as required
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
• Adhere to safety protocols and organizational policies

Qualifications:

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required (must be AHA certified)
• CNOR certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical setting
• Ability to start IVs

Work Schedule:

This position operates on a 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM schedule. There will be no weekends, holidays, or on-call duties.

Additional Information:

• Number of cases per day: 40-60
• Electronic Medical Record System: Epic
• Scrubs will be provided in maroon color
• One week of floor orientation is included
