Construction Supervisor

Position Overview

We are seeking an entrepreneurial, hands-on Construction Supervisor to oversee projects from initial scope and estimating through completion. This individual will be responsible for bidding and pricing jobs, managing subcontractors and vendors, overseeing job sites, controlling costs, and ensuring quality, timely completion, and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, think like an owner, solve problems in the field, and is not afraid to get their hands dirty.

Construction Supervisor Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate projects and develop accurate estimates, bids, labor/material costs, and project budgets .
• Solicit and negotiate pricing with subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.
• Manage projects from start to finish, including scheduling, job-site supervision, quality control, and final completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, and manpower.
• Perform hands-on construction, repairs, and problem-solving when needed.
• Monitor project costs, schedules, change orders, and profitability.
• Ensure work meets quality, safety, code, and client expectations.
• Develop strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, control costs, and grow the business.

Construction Supervisor Ideal Candidate

• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and highly accountable.
• Strong construction knowledge and hands-on field experience.
• Proven ability to accurately bid, estimate, and price projects .
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of labor, materials, subcontractor costs, and margins.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Willing to roll up their sleeves and do whatever is necessary to get the job done.
• Strong communicator with excellent organizational skills.
• 5+ years of construction/general contracting experience preferred.
• Contractor license or relevant trade certifications a plus.

This is not a desk job. We are looking for someone who can estimate it, manage it, build it, fix it, and take ownership of the result.
