Associate Attorney

An established firm based in Iselin with over 30 years in practice is seeking an Associate with 2+ years of experience to join their team in a hybrid work arrangement. This Attorney will have experience with general liability litigation, including commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident, and product liability matters. Trial experience is preferred.Offer:$100,000-$150,000, contingent on experienceComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insuranceMatching 401(k)Paid time offMentorship opportunitiesCollaborative and welcoming work environmentWork-life balanceQualifications:The candidate must have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school and maintain an active license in good standing in New Jersey.The candidate must have 2+ years of general liability litigation experience.Experience in both NY and NJ commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident, and product liability is preferred. Trial experience is preferred.The candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software. The candidate must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills, with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.Responsibilities:The attorney will evaluate new files and maintain client communications.The attorney will handle discovery production and research and prepare legal memoranda on various areas of law.
