Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in the Emergency Room. Candidates must have Cerner experience, travel experience, and current licensure, with availability for a consistent 3x12 hour shifts including every other weekend.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations.
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Perform and pass EKG assessments, including lethal rhythm recognition, on orientation day.
• Administer medications and interventions in accordance with hospital policies and protocols.
• Complete required CEUs and training modules promptly to maintain compliance.

Qualifications:

• Valid MO RN license or Compact State license at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years' clinical experience in emergency or acute care settings.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC current and verifiable.
• Ability to pass EKG exam with an 80% score or higher during orientation.
• Strong knowledge of emergency protocols and clinical procedures.
• Willingness to float within hospital units as needed.
