Are you a motivated, relationship driven professional who enjoys helping local businesses grow? Our community-focused weekly newspaper The Herald News in Dayton, TN is seeking a dynamic Advertising Sales Representative to lead retail ad sales in print and expand our digital advertising footprint.

What you’ll do:

Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and community partners

Sell print advertising in our weekly newspaper, including display and classified ads

Develop and present digital advertising solutions (website, social media, sponsored content, email marketing, etc.)

Prospect new clients through calls, visits, and networking

Create customized advertising packages to meet client goals and budgets

Meet and exceed monthly sales targets • Collaborate with our design and editorial teams to ensure high-quality ad placement

What we’re looking for:

Sales experience a plus

Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset

Comfortable working independently and managing a sales territory

Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and strategies is a plus

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
