Human Resource Generalist

The HR Generalist is responsible for managing day-to-day human resources operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, payroll coordination, compliance, training, and HR administration. The role supports employees and management to ensure a productive, compliant, and positive workplace. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Maintain employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality. Administer employee onboarding, orientation, and exit processes. Support performance management cycles, including appraisals and goal setting. Address employee concerns and resolve workplace issues in accordance with company policies. Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs. Assist in payroll processing by maintaining attendance, leave, and employee data. Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and statutory regulations. Manage leave, attendance, and benefits administration. Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs. Prepare HR reports and metrics for management. Update and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks. Support disciplinary actions, grievance handling, and conflict resolution. Assist in HR audits and compliance documentation. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or HR certification is a plus). 2–5 years of experience in Human Resources. Strong understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and HR best practices. Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. Preferred Skills Knowledge of payroll and statutory compliance. Experience with recruitment platforms and applicant tracking systems (ATS). Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities. Analytical and reporting skills. Strong customer-service orientation. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
