Industrial Electrician

Job ID: 524298 Job Summary This role is responsible for ensuring the proper electrical functioning of plant equipment and machinery and to troubleshoot any electrical/electronic malfunctioning and complete appropriate repairs and maintenance. Job Responsibilities Maintain and repair all existing electrical equipment in production areas Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, experience with PLC’s, and assembly schematic drawings Diagnose and test malfunctioning machinery and discuss malfunctions with other facility personnel Calibrate and adjust all electrical/electronic equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications Job Requirements Associate’s degree or Technical degree and Apprenticeship program or equivalent in training, experience and education Minimum of 5 years industrial experience in electrical support functions Must have been employed as an electrician or electrician apprentice within the past 18 months Must be knowledgeable of OSHA safety requirements, especially those related to electrical operations and components Working knowledge of three phase wiring and motors, programmable controls, circuits, and National Electrical Code & NFPA rules Ability to identify and order all required parts and components from approved vendors What CRH Offers You Highly competitive base pay Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs Group retirement savings program Health and wellness programs An inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion Equal Opportunity Employment Statements Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is an Affiliation Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
