Job Summary
Procedural Registered Nurse (RN), Endoscopy Lab Highland Park, Illinois. The role supports endoscopy and gastrointestinal (GI) procedures by assisting the physician during GI and endoscopy cases, with responsibilities that include pre-procedure and post-procedure nursing care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: 8-hour Days; 3640 hours per week; 06300900 start time (On-call: none; Weekends: no; Holidays: closed on holidays; therefore, won't get guaranteed hours that week)
• Required Qualifications: Active licensure in Illinois; Basic Life Support (CPR); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Epic experience; GI Lab and/or Endoscopy experience including PACU, admission, and recovery; Admission and recovery required; Successful completion of an EKG test on the first day (EKG test passed test 80% or higher)
• Preferred Qualifications: Med/Surg Tele experience (GI preferred); pre-procedure/post-procedure (preop/post op) experience
• Additional Information: Works in a fast-paced procedural environment assisting with GI and Endo procedures. Exposure may include moderate sedation workflows. Equipment includes Olympus scopes, with endoscopy supplies from commonly known manufacturers. Case volume is approximately 3060 cases per day. Orientation is on Mondays, and credentials are due Thursday before start. Floating may be required to nearby locations (Skokie, Evanston, Glenbrook).
