Requirements

• Licensed dental hygienist

Education & Licensure: Diploma/Degree in Dental Hygiene with a valid, active California state license to practice (RDH required).
Experience Level: Both experienced hygienists and motivated new graduates are highly welcome to apply!
Regulatory Compliance: In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, safety measures, and patient privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA).
Core Skills: Exceptional English communication skills (verbal and written), acute physical stamina to handle standard clinical demands, and sharp attention to detail.
Personality Traits: A patient-first attitude, a warm, reassuring smile, and an excellent ability to collaborate with a close-knit clinical team.

Job Description

Patient Comfort & Assessment: Ensure patients feel completely relaxed, conducting initial oral wellness screenings and checking health histories with a friendly demeanor.
Therapeutic Treatment: Perform precision cleanings (plaque and tartar removal), apply protective sealants or fluoride treatments, and identify signs of gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis.
Patient Empowerment: Educate patients of all ages on proper oral home care by actively demonstrating optimized brushing and flossing techniques.
Diagnostic Imaging: Capture sharp, high-quality diagnostic dental X-rays to assist the dentists in mapping out accurate treatment paths.
Clinical Collaboration: Support the doctor in selecting custom care plans for various oral issues, including advanced diagnostic screenings for oral cancer.
Sterilization & Documentation: Maintain meticulous, up-to-date digital patient charts and ensure dental instruments and equipment are flawlessly sterilized according to strict guidelines.
