About the Position

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting
• Manage and monitor patients requiring mechanical ventilation
• Perform IV insertions and PICC line placements
• Accurately document patient information using Meditech charting system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of ICU experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Proficiency in ventilator management and IV insertion
• Experience with PICC lines and Meditech charting
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity ICU environment
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in intensive care settings
