The primary purpose of this role is to protect customers\' properties from wood destroying organisms. As a Termite Technician you are the first line of defense in preserving and safeguarding customers\' properties. The inspections, prevention and treatment services you provide create peace of mind and comfort for our customers. Responsibilities Identify customer termite problems and have knowledge of termite behaviors and habits to determine remedial steps Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices Apply anti-termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions Communicate to the customer critical conditions conducive to termite activity and discuss procedures and structural modifications, which may be supplemental to the treatment process Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment Complete production forms documenting services provided Interact with customers and explain services provided Essential Job Functions Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations Prepare the job site for treatment Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders Comfortable working 20 feet up on a ladder and in small confined spaces General laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience is a plus Ability to work on roofs and high areas Lots of movement: standing, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and negotiating stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA-compliant respirator, and work in confined spaces or narrow passageways What do you need? Clean shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers must seal the face) High school diploma or GED Valid driver\'s license At least 1 year of customer service; experience in termite control is a plus Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Flexibility with working hours, Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations (covered by us) Basic math skills and ability to follow instructions for mixing on product labels Compensation Base Pay Range Hourly: $18.00 - $26.00. Starting pay may vary based on location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment where applicable.
