Overview Sullivan's Foods is hiring for a General Merchandise (GM) Department Manager to join our team! As the General Merchandise Department Manager, you will: Provide remarkable customer service to each and every guest – whether they visit our store or call us for a special order or with questions. Build exciting merchandising displays that help us sell more products to our guests and reach our gross profit goals. Evaluate product for quality and freshness to ensure that the product we have available to our guests is only the highest quality. Order product and ensure proper inventory levels. Assist team members with their job duties including preparing product, maintaining a clean and safe work setting, stocking product, organizing the cooler and freezer, breaking down cardboard and taking out the trash. Responsibilities In addition to the above, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests have a remarkable shopping experience, that our team members feel valued, and that our store maintains successful profitability.
